OkiEasy Mattress Review
In 2018, OkiOki’s founders leveraged more than 20 years of experience in the furniture industry to produce a line of high-quality mattresses at affordable prices. Recognizing that sleepers have different needs and preferences, they developed four distinct models: the OkiSoft, the OkiEasy, the OkiFlex, and the OkiFirm. All four models share the same price-point.
The OkiEasy and the OkiFlex are hybrid models. While their constructions are similar, the OkiEasy has a medium firm feel and the OkiFlex is firm. The OkiSoft and the OkiFirm both have an all-foam construction, but the OkiSoft has a medium feel and the OkiFirm is firm. In addition to mattresses, OkiOki produces foundations, a pillow, a topper, a protector, and bedroom furniture.
We’ll focus on the OkiEasy Mattress, which has a mid-range firmness and strong overall performance that is likely to satisfy most sleepers. First, we’ll give a quick overview of how this model compares to the rest of OkiOki’s mattress line. We’ll go on to break down its pricing, sizing, performance, and policies to help you decide whether this affordable hybrid is ideal for you.

OkiEasy Mattress Review: Our Verdict
The OkiEasy is a well-constructed hybrid mattress offered at an affordable price-point. It appeals to value-minded shoppers and those with limited budgets. The hybrid construction results in solid durability, and the mattress balances conforming pressure relief with full-body support for most sleepers.
That said, it’s particularly suitable for side sleepers and those who weigh less than 230 pounds, due to its thick foam comfort system and standard profile. Those who share the bed with a partner will likely find that the medium firm rating suits different sleep positions and body types. The mattress also helps isolate motion to minimize sleep disturbances for couples.
Those who prefer a plush mattress may find the OkiSoft to be a more suitable model, while shoppers looking for a firm sleep surface should consider the OkiFirm or OkiFlex instead.

How Does the OkiEasy Mattress Feel?
With a hybrid construction, the OkiEasy offers sleepers some of the best traits of both foam and innerspring models. A 2-inch memory foam comfort layer and a 2.5-inch polyfoam transition layer provide notable hug and pressure relief, while a coil core makes the bed bouncier, more breathable, and more responsive.
Thanks to its medium firm feel, the OkiEasy strikes a delicate balance of cradling and support. Most sleepers shouldn’t sink too deeply into the bed.
What Is the OkiEasy Mattress Made Of?
The OkiEasy consists of four primary layers, including a comfort layer, transition layer, and support core. The mattress has a standard profile of 11 inches.
The bed is encased in an Ice Yarn cover that uses a proprietary fabric blend engineered to feel cool to the touch for enhanced temperature regulation. This cover is hypoallergenic, removable, and machine-washable.
A 2-inch memory foam comfort layer cradles and cushions the body to help relieve pressure points. Beneath it, a 2.5-inch polyfoam transition layer limits sinkage and provides support while enhancing the contouring of the comfort layer.
A 5.5-inch layer of pocketed coils serves as the bed’s support system. Each coil moves independently without excessive motion transfer. These coils also make the bed more responsive and help circulate air to dissipate heat. A layer of polyfoam wraps around the perimeter of the coil system to reinforce the edges. A 1-inch base layer of polyfoam reinforces the coil support core.
What Type of Sleeper Is the OkiEasy Best For?
The OkiEasy Mattress’s medium firm feel and balanced contouring and support make it appropriate for most sleep positions and weight groups, but it may be particularly suitable for side sleepers and individuals who weigh under 230 pounds. We’ll break down important considerations for each sleep position.
Since most individuals are wider around their hips and shoulders, side sleepers often experience pressure in these areas. A mattress that shapes to the body can help redistribute pressure to limit discomfort.
The OkiEasy’s memory foam comfort layer contours to the sleeper’s body for pressure relief, while its polyfoam transition layer and coil core limit sinkage to help promote proper spinal alignment. Thanks to its medium firm feel, the OkiEasy should be comfortable for side sleepers from all weight groups, but it performs especially well for those who weigh between 130 and 230 pounds.
The hug of the OkiEasy’s memory foam comfort layer may make it more difficult for combination sleepers to change positions during the night. However, its blend of conforming and support should be comfortable for individuals who weigh under 230 pounds whether they sleep on their backs, sides, or stomachs.
Combination sleepers who weigh over 230 pounds may gravitate toward side sleeping, since back and stomach sleeping on the OkiEasy could put a strain on their lower backs. These individuals might benefit from the extra support of the OkiFlex or the OkiFirm.
For ideal lumbar support, a back sleeper’s hips should sink in a bit but still feel supported. The OkiEasy’s memory foam comfort layer cradles the hips while providing enough support for most individuals who weigh under 230 pounds. Those who weigh more than 230 pounds may find that their hips sink too deeply into the mattress, which puts pressure on their lower backs.
Most sleepers who rest exclusively on their backs may be more comfortable on one of OkiOki’s other models. Those who weigh under 130 pounds may enjoy the plush feel of the OkiSoft. Depending on personal preferences, individuals between 130 and 230 pounds may prefer the extra support of the OkiFlex or OkiFirm or the added cushioning of the OkiSoft. Those who weigh over 230 pounds will likely benefit from the more supportive OkiFlex or OkiFirm.
Stomach sleepers usually need a more supportive mattress than those who favor other sleep positions. The extra weight around their midsections could pull them too deeply into a softer bed, which would put a strain on their spines.
The OkiEasy should be supportive enough for most stomach sleepers who weigh under 230 pounds, while gently cushioning the upper body. Individuals who weigh over 230 pounds may sink too deeply into the mattress, potentially contributing to lower back discomfort. The OkiFlex and the OkiFirm may be a better fit for most stomach sleepers who weigh over 230 pounds.
How Does Body Weight Impact Performance?
Body weight directly affects how an individual will experience a mattress. Those who weigh less than 130 pounds put less pressure on a bed, so they will not sink in as deeply or experience as much contouring. Heavier individuals will sink in more and experience more contouring, but they’ll also likely need extra support.
The OkiEasy’s medium firm feel is within the firmness range most sleepers prefer, so it should be able to accommodate sleepers from all weight groups.
This mattress will likely feel the firmest to individuals who weigh under 130 pounds. However, its memory foam comfort layer should conform enough to allow them to sleep comfortably on their sides, backs, or stomachs.
Those who weigh between 130 and 230 pounds should experience the OkiEasy as a true medium firm mattress with balanced contouring and support. While this balance of features should accommodate most sleep positions, the cradling memory foam comfort layer is particularly suitable for side sleepers. The mattress evenly distributes body weight for exceptional pressure relief.
Side sleepers who weigh over 230 pounds may find the OkiEasy comfortable, but back and stomach sleepers in this weight group may be more likely to experience sagging near their hips that could jeopardize their spinal alignment. These individuals will likely find the OkiEasy to be too soft and may benefit from a firm mattress instead.
Is the OkiEasy Good for Couples?
Overall, the OkiEasy is a good option for couples. It balances the performance factors that typically matter most to those sleeping with a partner.
The biggest benefits for couples may be the OkiEasy’s edge support, noise control, and temperature neutrality. Thanks to its reinforced perimeter, partners should be able to use the full surface of the mattress, which can make the bed seem bigger. While coils can produce noise, the OkiEasy’s are pocketed to remain whisper-quiet so that you’re less likely to be awoken by your bed creaking when your partner moves. Its breathable design and cooling cover should help reduce the likelihood of couples overheating during the night.
The OkiEasy also earns solid ratings for motion isolation and sex. Its memory foam comfort layer and polyfoam transition layer should reduce motion transfer so that partners don’t feel every time their partner rolls over. Meanwhile, the coil core gives the bed some bounce, which many couples prefer for sex.
